The Sweetest Collaboration: Sugar & Nice
Share
If you've ever wondered what happens when abstract art collides with the world of Perth’s best blondies, cinny-scrolls, & muffs of the day, then I’ve got news sweeter than a croissant full of soft serve for you, because Sugar & Nice Café in Inglewood is hosting the remaining available work from my abstract “Masked” collection as well as the “My Name is Jeff” limited-edition duck print.
When I told Sugar & Nice owner Marnee that I was on the hunt for opportunities to display my work & get it in front of more eyes & she just happened to have a big white wall that needed decorating in a café full of hungry eyes, so it was obvious what needed to happen next.
Why display art in a café that's all about sweet treats? Well, why not? Just like a good dessert, art is meant to evoke emotion, stir the soul, & to be savoured. Let's be honest, there's nothing like contemplating the complexities of neurodivergence while munching on a brownie that's fudgy in the middle & crispy on the edges. It's a sensory experience that's second to none.
I want to thank Marnee & the team at Sugar & Nice for letting me hammer holes into their pristine wall to hang my art upon. All the work on display is available for viewing during café opening hours & can also be viewed/purchased through my website.
Sugar & Nice is located at: Shop 1/882 Beaufort St, Inglewood WA 6052
