Art & Found Day

This year, on March 12th, I was one of thousands of artists, globally, taking my art out into the wild & leaving it in secret locations for strangers to find & keep, FOR FREE!!!  It is the annual event known as Art & Found Day, which is like a big world-wide game of hide & seek, but with art.

I created three brand new pieces especially for Art & Found Day & included 3 other pieces from my collection of past works.  Whilst the idea is that you should go out & drop the artwork in public locations physically for people to find – which I did do with most of the work - I also took the initiative to run an online virtual style art & found so that anyone who did not live in the vicinity of my location still had a chance of getting their hands on a piece of my art.  In total I gave away 4 pieces in person (pictured) & 2 more online (a 3rd "All is Full of Love" & a "F**k Yeah" mini).

It was a lot of fun trying to stealth drop my art in various locations around the Northern suburbs & waiting anxiously to hear if it had been found by someone.  I hope all the recipients of my hide & seek art enjoyed getting a little unexpected surprise.
