About:

The mighty presence of an elephant approaching a waterhole sends a murder of crows, panicked, into the sky. 

Inspired by a photograph I took while travelling on the Nxai Pan, Botswana in 2013.  

This piece depicts a large male elephant, with one tusk, standing in a moody blue abstract landscape, flanked by black crows in flight. The piece is moderately textural.
