This painting was created in 2020, one of the hardest years of my adult life, to date.  A year that was a battle from start to finish.  Is it any wonder that for whatever reason I felt drawn to create a beta fish aka "fighting" fish. Maybe it was my subconscious way of making sense of it all & finding the strength to keep going.  This one is for fighters, don't let the battle scars dull your shine.

This artwork depicts a vibrant coloured beta/fighting fish against a dark abstract background.  The piece is minimally textured overall but does have raised scale detail on the fish.  Finished with gold leaf & large flaky style metallic glitter that makes it really shine.
