I created this piece at a Jessie Breakwell workshop where I was expanding my abstract floral repertoire.   Jessie has a very loose painting style that embraces imperfection, which as a bonafied control freak, I struggled with, HARD. 

Needless to say I left the workshop with an unresolved piece, which I relegated to the work in progress sinbin for a few months until I could get my head around it again.  What I ended up with was this beauty.  In it's foundations inspired by Jessie's work & teachings, but in it's finishings (many months later) it took on the flavour of my own colour direction & style.  It is kind of like getting two artists for the price of one!

I love this piece but I simply do not have space to keep everything I create, so lucky for you I have decided to let it go.

This artwork depicts an abstract garden with a winding, flowing river surrounded by vividly coloured flowers & trees.  The artwork is minimally textured & finished with clean white painted edges.
